Obituary of Miriam Moles

Miriam Moles age 91 of Norris,TN passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and was a mother to the community. Miriam was a Sunday school teacher and a member of Indian Gap Baptist Church. Miriam enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin & Elizabeth McGlothin; husband, James Moles; sons, Kenneth & wife Thelma Moles, Charles Moles, Robert & wife Sue Moles, Delbert Moles; daughter, Mary & husband Grant Howard. She is survived by her sons, Leon Moles & wife Lou Ann of Dayton, OH, Carl Moles & wife June of St. Augustine, FL, Jesse Moles and wife Barbara of Andersonville, TN, Arnold Moles & wife Xenia of Nashville, TN; daughters, Juanita Harrison & husband Ted of KY, Melba Shoenleben & husband Steve of Bradford, OH, Esther Queener of Norris, TN; daughter-in-law, Peggy Moles of Andersonville, TN; brothers, Paul McGlothin & wife Carolyn of Bradford, OH, Jacob McGlothin of Arcanum, OH; sister, Mary Thomas & husband Don of IN; grandchildren, Jennifer, Mary Ann, Sarah, Becky, Jason, Valerie, James, Robbin, Josh, & Jesse; 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Miriam's family will receive her friends on Saturday, June 30th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm with her funeral service following at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Jeff Wood, Rev. Kenny Bean, and Rev. Darryl Taylor officiating. Her interment will follow her funeral services at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery in Andersonville, TN. The family would like to thank Methodist Medical Center & Covenant Hospice for the excellent care they had given to momma. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
